Eye Care
Take care of your eyes
When you take care of your body, you also take care of your eyes. Avoid overeating and limit your intake of food high in fat and sugar to avoid developing diabetes and getting high blood pressure. These conditions can lead to different eye diseases, like cataracts (cloudy but painless areas in the eye lens) and glaucoma (abnormally high fluid pressure in the eye).
Eat right
To ensure your eyes are in perfect condition, make healthy food choices. Zinc, omega-3 fatty acids, lutein, Vitamin A, C and E are good for your eyes. You could get these nutrients from green, leafy vegetables like green bell pepper and malunggay; oily fish like tuna or bangus; non-meat protein sources like nuts and beans; and citrus fruits like ponkan and dalandan.
